The Role of Women in Social Change4/12/2020 by Miira
Femininity arises from knowledge, the creation story of the new age, written in the language of the body. It is accessible, understandable, and connected to all living beings. It connects everything together and creates balance. A woman is inherently connected to the now-moment through her body. Emotions and recurring physiological events such as menstruation, pregnancies, and menopausal symptoms, as well as related bodily sensations, take a woman deep into bodily experience. Accepting pain, discomfort, and constant change as part of everyday femininity provides perspective and stability to cope with challenges and changes in other areas of life as well. Right now, change on our planet is not only necessary but also inevitable. While change is still mostly reflected in external upheavals, it is above all an internal, spiritual change. The consciousness of the Earth is expanding and we are inextricably linked to it because we are children of the Earth. Although our physical body appears to be a single, disappearing, and distinct form, its evolution is directly related to the evolution of the Earth. Through evolution, we carry in our bodies the history of planet Earth and ever-expanding consciousness. Through our bodies we are part of a great interactive cosmic play like all living beings in form, whether we like it or not. Regardless of the negative perceptions of the body, that play takes place precisely through the body, not by leaving it or by rejecting it. Our only choice is to either surrender to the game or stubbornly oppose it. Man is a whole whose ultimate essence is spiritual. While consciousness at some point in evolution may be completely liberated from the body, we now need power to rise from the body. Since we don’t have time to waste, it is wise and practical to reinforce existing, useful features. The ability attached to a woman’s biological body to transform, give birth, nourish, nurture, and create attachment relationships rises to a key position in our quest for social balance and the survival of the planet. It is of paramount importance that those who live in a woman’s biological body take up the qualities and express them in a way that suits their personality. It is also highly desirable that all people, regardless of gender and body biology, reinforce these qualities in themselves - only then will we be able to take care of all beings and help our planet remain viable for all of us. Whatever our past as an individual, community, or society, the future is in our hands now. Real change only happens in the now-moment. Only it exists, everything else is an illusion. Without the now-moment, the past will repeat itself, we will miss the opportunity and remain trampled into our places. Our moment of influence is now.
