Women's Ceremonies
Women's Ceremonies
Women’s ceremonies are especially important in these times when the feminine principle and feminine values are emerging at the societal level. There is no particular way in which rituals should be performed, they can be varied according to the situation and the person. Hopefully, these examples would inspire more and more women to wish for themselves a changeover ceremony, a rite of passage that should be organized by familiar and compassionate women. The spiritual dimension of the ceremony is very essential.
A woman’s daily life can become mystical when a woman reinforces feminine life areas through rituals and exercises, connecting them to spiritual life. In ancient times, there were many rituals that were part of tantric practices. They have been largely forgotten, and perhaps good so, as many of them would not be suitable to this day, but some would benefit everyone. Among these are ceremonies honoring the Goddess, divine Shakti, and her covenant with Shiva.
These ceremonies are very old, dating back 15,000 -20,000 years. They were not relevant in the days of the patriarchy, but they can now be brought to life and brought forth, for now is the time when the calling of the Great Goddess will be strengthened. Organize or attend ceremonies to strengthen femininity and the stages of a woman's life change: First menstruation, wedding shower, maternity performance ceremony, breastfeeding initiation ceremony, menopause ceremony, Wise Age ceremony, ceremony after loss, femininity discovery ceremony, Healing ceremony, etc.
“If one wants to explore the mysticism of women’s lives, it should not be limited to meditation exercises alone. A woman’s daily life can come under the mysticism when a woman reinforces aspects of life related to femininity through rituals and exercises, connecting them to spiritual life. When we talk about female mysticism, we are talking about developing exercises designed to bring spirituality to all aspects of a woman’s life. ”- Maetreyii Ma Nolan
“Rituals have acted as a gateway between the past and the future. They help close the door to the past and open the door to the future. Transition rites rhythm a person’s life. Often, transition rites are made in the presence of other people, bringing the new human status into account throughout the surrounding community. In different cultures, the rituals have become unique and thus they also support the “me-feeling” of different cultures. A person is essentially a social structure and can do badly if he does not have a healthy relationship with other people in his environment. In rituals, people share and encounter together. The community supports the person receiving the ritual and at the same time creates a sense of community. ” - Lila Enkola
